Pastel Rainbow Sand Tossies.  A set of 8 cotton drill, plastic-free Sand Tossies with a reusable calico storage bag.   Luscious, soft pastel colours and a soft sensory feel from the sand filling in a fully cotton-lined drill bag.    Cotton drill is a heavy-duty fabric that can stand up to some serious kid work!  

We make earth-friendly, open-ended play and learn accessories to complete the Montessori-style play environment for our kids and grandkids. We knew we could do better than the plastic/synthetic/imported options around as our planet doesn’t need any more plastics, synthetic fabrics or unnecessary packaging.  🌏

Tossies are small pyramid-shaped cotton bags (about 10cm high), cotton lined and filled with washed sand.  They are easy for small hands to hold, throw and catch and the sand adds some weight and a soft sensory component without making them too heavy to handle.  They are ideal for indoor or outdoor play and can be used for throwing and catching, sorting, stacking, colour play and counting and are also fabulous as props for imaginative play.  They can be piled and stacked and combined with our Pastel Rainbow Combo set and other play equipment for more combinations.  

Tossies are lovingly hand-made in Perth, Western Australia on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Nyoongar people of Beeliar boodja and we acknowledge and respect their culture and contribution to this land past, present and future. 

When Tossies have finished their life entertaining and educating your kids, they can be composted or tossed in the garden guilt-free.
